The material of the shelf directly determines its load-bearing limit and service life, with metal grades and processing techniques being critical.

  • Prioritize high-quality steel or aluminum alloys. Steel shelves offer excellent load-bearing performance, while aluminum alloys are lighter and corrosion-resistant, suitable for humid environments like bathrooms or kitchens.
  • Check the material thickness. A shelf with a main frame thickness of at least 1.2mm and a shelf board thickness of 0.8mm can better withstand heavy items without bending.
